Kafsa Feeds the Poor in Honour of Mandela

Kafsa Feeds the Poor in Honour of Mandela

Date: 2012-07-25
This Mandela birthday, Khwaja Ameenudeen Foundation of South Africa brought joy and smiles to the underprivileged, poor and needy through their community outreach project.

The father of the nation and a world icon Nelson Mandela had tuned 94 last week and to celebrate this occasion and honour him the founders, leader and members of the Khwaja Ameenudeen Foundation of South Africa had hosted mass feeding scheme at various informal settlements within the Kwazulu-Natal province.

We had provided a scrumptious meal of mutton breyani and salad to hundreds poor and needy people. The founder and deputy president of the KAFSA organisation had said, "At the Khwaja Ameenudeen Foundation of South Africa everyday is like Mandela Day. Our assistance is purely humanitarian and to express unconditional care towards the less fortunate people of South Africa. We assist all walks of life irrespective of race, religion, colour or creed. The primary vision of KAFSA is to uplift the standard of living for the poor, needy and underprivileged people of South Africa."

We would like to take this opportunity in thanking all our generous sponsors; members and volunteers for making this project a success.
