Promising young SA Fashion designer partners with Rosebank College

Promising young SA Fashion designer partners with Rosebank College

Date: 2014-08-29
The Durban Fashion Fair kicked off on Thursday, 21 August at the ICC in Durban and it was an event not to be missed by South Africa's Fashionistas . One of South Africa's newest young and dynamic fashion designers, Mxolisi Luke Mkhize from the House of Saint Luke (HSL) fashion house partnered with Rosebank College Durban Campus.

"I would like to thank Rosebank College, as this partnership does not only elevate me into doing what I am most passionate about but also shows their students that anything is possible when you want to follow your dream. Associating yourself with like-minded individuals and institutions makes this possible and I look forward to a fruitful partnership with Rosebank College and the many more positive contributions that we will make towards the communities and the lives of students," comments Mxo.

"We are very excited to have partnered with such a promising, young and upcoming star within the South African fashion space," comments Greg Fillmore, Managing Director of Rosebank College. "The reason for our involvement is to offer our students the experience to realise the different opportunities and platforms that South Africa offers, no matter what qualification you study, the application thereof can be of a wide selection and very creative."

House of Saint Luke has also been invited to partake in the bi-annual SA Fashion Week that will take place in October in Rosebank.
