Festive Buzz at Suncoast

They call it the Silly Season. They call it Festive and Merry. Oh yes! They call it many things and they are right, the 'Crazy Spell' has begun but for the most part it is the season to be Jolly and there is no better place to be this Festive Season than at Suncoast.

The Christmasvibe at Suncoast is unlike anywhere else, which is because Suncoast attracts the most fascinating crowed from around the country and abroad.

Last weekend we had the pleasureof beingwowed by the hospitality and gourmet cuisine form Ryan Sherrell, the manager at Havana Grillat Suncoast. Together with his friendly and competent team Ryan serves up a tantalising menu of aged prime cut meats, seafood and poultry. Whatever your preference, the Havana Grill menu is designed for even the fussy diners so what are you waiting for

Suncoast isbuzzing. It is a wonderful place to meet people and make new friends. We had the pleasure of meeting the Khan family from Newcastle, they were enjoying a week long break before the festive madness. Together with their two children, Uri and Mahomed Khan they were cooling down with some gourmet ice cream. The Khan family come to Suncoast every year, they love the family friendly atmosphere and the safety, it is one of their favourite attractions for their two sons Vayush and Rayan who love the games arcade and the diverse food court.

The highlight of our weekend visit was the live entertainmentat the Suncoast amphitheatre on the boardwalk, thevibrant, 8-piece Afro-Caribbean band Manteca, performed, salsa-inspired sounds while people sat around in the shade, some joined in the dancing while others watched from the restaurant tables, sipping cold refreshments.

The live music continued throughout theafternoonasSuncoastshowcasedsome of Durban'sfinest artists and I guess the best part was that it was absolutely free to the public.

Suncoast has many plans for the Festive Season for the whole family. Clown shows, story telling, live entertainment and so much more.Be sure tovisit their websiteor Facebook pageand see what is in store for the coming weeks and make a day of it.

With sun, sea, great food, ice-cold cocktails and plenty of entertainment,it's the place to be! Enjoy the latest movies, a great meal, a fun night out, an awesome day at the beach or have some fun on 1,600 slots machines and 67 gaming tables on the casino floor- you'll find something to keep you and your family entertained for hours.
