Fresh New Sound in Durban

Fresh New Sound in Durban

Date: 2014-07-25
Chocolate Milk DJ-duo wins competition to open Wavehouse gig Saturday 19 July 2014

"Chocolate Milk #shake" is a home grown Durban based DJ-Duo comprising Dave Unger and Chilsta (Sithole).

The boys both attend Hilton College together and are in Grade 10. They said that they came up with the name "Chocolate Milk" after enjoying one of their favourite drinks at the school Tuck Shop one afternoon. They have been together since Primary School and discovered their mutual love of producing and playing Electronic Music when they hit their teens.

After entering and winning a competition earlier this week, they will open REVOLUTION CHAPTER 2 at the Wavehouse in Gateway on Saturday 19 July 2014. This is one of the largest under-18s parties on the calendar and they hope to use it as a platform to launch their new, fresh sound.
