KZN Youth Orchestra live: Friends of Music

The KZN Youth Orchestra which has been making music for over 40 years features musicians from around KZN, and between the ages of 8 -18. Conducted by Lykele Temmingh, they will play a programme which includes some popular classics, film music and some local South African tunes. Included in the repertoire will be favourites such as Greensleeves, BachÕs Birthday Cantata, O Fortuna, Star Wars, Mamma Mia, The Greatest Showman, and the Soweto String QuartetÕs Zebra Crossing. Join us for a celebration of the best young musicians the province has to offer - a glimpse into our musical future.

Note that there will be two shows (The concert is hour long and will have no Prelude Performer or interval).
