Crawford College North Coast's 2015 Toastmasters' Graduation

Crawford College North Coast's 2015 Toastmasters' Graduation

Date: 2015-11-13
Every leader's journey begins with a single speech.

The world needs leaders as leaders head families, motivate teams, oversee businesses and inspire others. In order for a leader to be effective, he/she needs to be able communicate effectively and meaningfully. Leadership positions require an individual to be able to give speeches regularly, gain feedback, encourage teams and guide others to achieve their goals in a supportive and positive environment.

Toastmasters International is a world leader in communication and leadership development.

Congratulations to Crawford College North Coast's graduates: Luyanda Malevu, Njabulo Mkhabela, Tarryn Loots and Unathi Chiliza on successfully completing the Crawford College North Coast Toastmasters' course.

During their journey our students learnt to tell narratives, to listen and respond appropriately in pressurised situations, to plan effectively, to give and receive feedback and to understand other students' points of view. The students themselves acknowledged that the course has "built their self-confidence" and resulted in "personal growth" as well as reminded them of the importance of integrity and respect for others.
