The new owners of Karibu Pub & Diner, Umhlali and Ghekko events set out to launch the first annual Karibu BEER Festival for the Dolphin Coast in KZN. The beer festival will feature some popular local and regional craft breweries together with a variety of typical affordable meals to suit everyone's taste buds.

We are also excited to announce the line up of local and regional music artist for the duration of the event. The festival kick off at 11am on Sat 28th and will cater for the music lovers as four bands will be playing daily, BIG Screen rugby for the rugby enthusiasts (SA v AUS playing at Newlands CT), ready fires and Braai packs will be sold, Beer Tent, traders and exhibitors, Family and kids entertainment, etc.

Sunday morning between 9 and 11am, Karibu Pub & Diner will be launching their Bikers Breakfast Run and we encourage all to support this.

Entrance fee of R30 per adult and kids under 12 are free and are encouraged to bring a new toy for the TOY collection fund raising project during this event. Part of the gate money will be going to our community Charity SIZANI Combined Primary, Salt Rock.

The line up is as follows, on Saturday the 28th the gates open at 11am and from then until 3pm there is an open mic DJ Mix. Then from 3pm to 4pm Dan Charles, from 4pm to 5pm Iris and the Tokolshe. From 5pm to 7pm we will have Rugby on the BIG Screen, South Africa verses Australia at Newlands Cape Town. From 7pm to 8pm Nick Pitman & Julian Van Rensburg will get everybody rocking again and from 8pm to 10:30pm The Incidentals will warm you up for DJ Fuego Heat who will play midnight.

On Sunday the 29th the gates open at 9am and the DJ Mix will go on till 11. From 11 to 1pm The Incidentals, from 1pm to 2pm Megan Moon will tune you up and Badyn will play from 2 to 4pm. The Kickstands will take you from 5pm to 7pm rounding off a star-studded lineup. So come and enjoy the beverages and the vibe and the good people.
