Mothers Day celebrations for senior citizens

Mothers Day celebrations for senior citizens

Author: Prelisha Pillay
Date: 2013-05-23
Mother's Day is a day set aside to acknowledge and honour the mothers in our lives. On such occasion, a tribute was paid to the mothers who attend the Senior Citizens Club at the Shree Emperumal Temple of Mount Edgecombe.

The 70 members, who attend weekly, partook in the sumptuous breakfast and lunch, which was served. The ladies received roses and chocolates and were delighted by this kind gesture. Upon closure, Mr S.K Naidoo who is the Club's chairman thanked all the sponsors, as it contributed to the success of the event. The coordination of the event was undertaken by the PRO Mr Kris Moodley who also organises excursions for the club.

The club was formed in the year 2000 and plays an active role in assisting the temple with the prayer programmes. For more information contact Kris Moodley on 031-5058035 or S.K Naidoo on 031-5647039.
