Simple Christmas

Simple Christmas

Date: 2013-12-13
While Christmas decorations are slowly making their way out of storage boxes everywhere most of us are dreading the Festive Craze, are you in the mood to simplify the Christmas decorations this year? You can easily decorate your home with a few simple pieces that will barely make a dent in your pocket.

Simple Christmas decor tips:
Get a roll of wide Christmas ribbon in whatever pattern strikes your fancy (and is on sale). Use the ribbon to wrap around the post on your front porch. Use your staple gun to attach at the top and widely stream it around the post stapling as needed.

Little glass votive holders with red, green and white candles will nicely accent a room with a Christmas flair. Small ornate Christmas gems add a hint of simple elegance especially if you group them together on a small mirror with some greenery around it.

Your Christmas tree does not have to rival the Christmas tree at your local shopping centre. Find a tree (preferably artificial to enjoy for years to come) that fits your needs, personality and space.

Decorating your tree is a fun experience that is as unique as your own personality. Why not pick up a box of blue glass ornaments, silver garland and Christmas ribbon that will complement both colours. Make a big bow with the ribbon for your tree topper. Simple and elegant! (Whatever colour you prefer will work beautifully)

Keep a jug of spiced wine in the fridge. When someone drops in, put some in a pot on the stove. Whether they drink it or not, it will add a magical smell to your home!

Enjoy yourself this Christmas!
