Isuzu KB stands the test of time

Isuzu KB stands the test of time

Date: 2015-08-07
WITH more than 720000 kilometers on the odometer, Ryno Jonker's Isuzu KB 250 is still as reliable as when he first bought it eleven years ago.

A good service is all that his bakkie needs to remain safe and reliable on the road, and to add value to his business Jonker advised.

The 1995 model Isuzu KB was the talk of the town recently when he entered a competition run by Algoa FM, where listeners were asked to submit pictures of their odometer readings to see who had the highest mileage.

The Port Elizabeth businessman's Isuzu had a whopping 726, 838 km on the clock. Despite the high mileage he still uses it every day to transport his workers and heavy loads of equipment.

"The kilometers might be high, but a good service is all the bakkie needs to keep it running smoothly. I travelled to Johannesburg twice this year without any problems or worry that I could get there and back.

Jonker also owns two other Isuzu bakkies with 550000 and 430000 kilometers on the clock respectively. He is confident that his bakkie will soon see one million kilometers without any hassle.
