It was so moving to see the delight in the little faces of the Gugulethu Crche when James Roelofse and Len Tolmay of Associated Motor Holdings in Umhlanga started handing out soccer balls.
Associated Motor Holdings are the franchise dealership for Tata, Kia, Foton, Proton, Daihatsu and Imperial Select Pre Owned. When Palma Stewart saw their "World Cup" display she immediately thought of the Gugulethu Crche in Hillcrest and her idea of donating the balls to the school once the World Cup was over was accepted with enthusiasm from the dealership.
Gugulethu Creche is run by Mr. Shabalala who founded the crche with his late wife in 1985. The crche is struggling and needs help with funds, kids educational toys, a coat of paint, crayons and paper and almost everything a crche would need.
