Successful Spring fashion show

Successful Spring fashion show

Date: 2014-09-05
The Christmas fair Fund's spring fashion show at the Simbithi Country Club was a sizzling affair, attended by more than 200 stylish north coast fashionistas.

The spring/summer ranges of designers Kathrin Kidger, Sibu Msimang, Carol Clark, Karen Monk Klijnstra, Larisa Terblanche and Zarth gave guests an idea of what to expect for the 2014 season. A children's clothing range by Cowgirlzzz, had moms and grannies grabbing for their credit cards.

The novel pop up shop held after the show gave ladies the opportunity to interact with the designers and buy clothes straight off the runway.

Chairlady Michelle Blake thanked everybody for attending. "Without the support of our local community, the Christmas Fair Fund cannot continue with the valuable work we are doing."

All funds raised through the show will be distributed to various local charitable organisations, supported by the Christmas Fair Fund. These include St Luke's home for the mentally and physically handicapped, St Vincent de Paul, the Lower Tugela Bursary Fund, Westbrook Retirement Village and various schools and creches in the region.

The next Christmas Fair Fund event is the much anticipated Country Fair on 29 and 30 October at Collisheen Estate.
