Introducing the New Hyundai ALCAZAR: The Bold and The Beautiful 7-Seater Family-Friendly SUV

Looking for the perfect family vehicle that does not compromise on style or your budget? Say hello to the all-new Hyundai ALCAZAR - designed with South African families in mind.

A New Addition to our Family

The Hyundai ALCAZAR joins our growing lineup of SUVs, complementing the popular Hyundai CRETA while offering the one thing that big families need - more space. To be precise, the Hyundai ALCAZAR gives buyers seven seats, with the slightly elevated third row with its charging points and air vents ensuring that all six passenger seats are comfortable and useable.

The new model bridges the gap between the compact Hyundai CRETA and the premium Hyundai TUCSON, giving families an affordable option without sacrificing comfort or convenience.

"The new Hyundai ALCAZAR personifies our business model. To offer real value at an affordable price to buyers. We showed our intent with the recent launch of the Hyundai EXTER and the recently upgraded Hyundai TUCSON, where we managed to offer an even lower entry-point to the model range, while significantly upgrading our features," says Gideon Janse van Rensburg, CEO of Hyundai Automotive South Africa.

More Than Just a Replacement: it possesses Striking Good Looks!

"The Hyundai ALCAZAR is not just stepping in for the Grand CRETA - it is a major upgrade. For one, it comes with a lower starting price than the model it replaces, making premium family travel more accessible to South Africans," says Stanley Anderson, Sales and Operations Director at Hyundai Automotive South Africa.

Its bold design features distinctive H-style LED daytime running lights connected by a centre light bar - proving that family-focused SUVs do not have to be boring. The same goes for the bold grille and stylish 18-inch diamond-cut wheels give it a premium look that belies its affordable price tag.

"Keep an eye out for other design features that takes this design further. For instance, the silver-tone lower grille and rear faux bash plate, the rear LED tail lamps and light bar that mirror the front design and the widened fenders with their dark inserts that is perfectly frame the wheels," adds Anderson.

Power When You Need It

Consumers can choose between a responsive 2.0-liter petrol engine or an economical 1.5-liter turbodiesel - both paired with a smooth six-speed automatic transmission. No more worrying about gear changes in stop-start traffic.

The Drive Mode Selector lets you personalize your driving experience-switch to Eco mode to save fuel on long highway trips, or Sport mode when you want a more exciting drive. When road conditions get tricky, simply select the appropriate terrain mode (Snow, Mud, or Sand) to keep your family safe and moving forward.

A Cabin That Works for Everyone

Inside is where the Hyundai ALCAZAR truly shines. The spacious three-row seating means no more arguments about who sits where - everyone gets their own comfortable spot.

Since this is an SUV for the modern family, the second row has fold-out tables (Elite only), and all three rows get USB charging. For some added practicality both rear rows fold completely flat, transforming your family SUV into a cargo hauler in seconds.

Anderson highlights that the driver-focused cockpit features a high-resolution dual-screen display that keeps you connected through Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. "Convenient touches like wireless charging and easy-to-use climate and audio controls with physical buttons means the driver can keep their eyes on the road and ensures a stress-free journey."

Upgrade to the Elite model and indulge in luxury features like:

• • A panoramic sunroof that floods the cabin with natural light
  • Customizable LED mood lighting for evening drives
  • Ventilated front seats to keep you cool in summer

Safety First, Always

Your family's safety is non-negotiable, which is why every Hyundai ALCAZAR comes equipped with six airbags, ISOFIX anchors for child seats (top and bottom), and a comprehensive suite of electronic safety systems including stability control and hill assist features.
