Nation Builders honours local teachers
Nation Builders visited two schools, Dolphin Coast Pre-Primary and Destiny Life Academy in Ballito to recognise and acknowledge the impact made by some of our local teachers. World Teacher's Day which is celebrated on 5 October recognises the contribution educators make to the world and reminds people to show their gratitude for the teachers who have impacted their own lives. Teachers in South Africa are faced with various challenges and are often discouraged, with many choosing to go abroad to teach or change their career.
Annet Sewraj an ex-educator herself addressed both educators and learners during their visit to the schools. She stressed to the learners the importance of honouring their teachers and the vital role teachers play educating and preparing them for a successful future. Annet Sewraj also brought a message of hope to the teachers, commending them on the excellent work they were doing and the contribution they were making to nurture our future leaders.
Colleen Moodle, Principal of Destiny Life Academy thanked Annet Sewraj And the Nation Builders Team for visiting the staff. She added that it was such a lovely reminder to their team that what they do matters and that they were grateful for the words of encouragement.
Sandy Pauw from Dolphin Coast Pre-Primary said that they were extremely grateful to Nation Builders. All the staff felt very appreciated and thanked the team for choosing their school.
Nation Builders continues to touch and impact lives within our community and have been working extensively as an NPO to bring about transformation in society. For further information on Nation Builders contact Leann Peters on 083 743 4812 or email: nationbuilderssa@gmail.com.
