Captur The Moment With McCarthy Renault

Captur The Moment With McCarthy Renault

It's a rare occurrence that I accept invites on a Tuesday. Tuesdays are normally days stuck behind the computer, working my butt off. However there was something different, intriguing and succulently enticing about the Renault Captur car launch that arrived on my desk one April morning and straight away I knew that I just could not miss this event.

The early morning flight to OR Tambo was filled to the brim with sleep-deprived salesmen. But before I knew it I was safely on the ground being transported to an unknown destination to meet my Captur.

Being welcomed by thirty brand new shiny Renault Capturs was a pleasant surprise. The new Renault Capture is the most captivating of the new age baby SUVs. Beautifully crafted lines on the outside and a stylishly fashioned interior, affords this Renault a winning formula.

This impressive compact SUV offers a very high level of standard equipment. You get the likes of Bluetooth connectivity, an integrated on-board multimedia system with seven-inch touchscreen that offers satellite navigation, Arkamys radio plus USB port, ECO mode function, hands-free key card, electric side mirrors and electric windows (front and rear), plus automatic climate control, rear parking sensors, automatic headlights and rain-sensitive front wipers all as standard fitment across the range.

Renault Captur is a family car and safety is on top of the agenda. Here you get cruise control plus speed limiter, Anti-Lock Braking System coupled with Emergency Brake Assist and the Electronic Stability Program, along with Hill Start Assist, all complimented by high-efficiency front airbags, head/chest and side airbags, seatbelts with pretensioners and force limiters (front seats), anti-submarining front seats, anti-whiplash head rests and force limiter function (rear side seats).

The claimed fuel consumption for the Renault Captur are reported at 5.4 litres per 100km for the 88kW motor and 4.9 litres per 100km for the two 66kW models. And believe me when I tell you that the petrol gauge hardly moved on our scenic adventure ride to the Emperors Palace in Sun City.

So capture life, live for the moment and drive in an all-new Renault Captur. Call McCarthy Renault Gateway on 031 576 5300 for your free test drive today, or just drop in at their showroom and let their friendly efficient staff introduce you to your new Captur.
