Triumph Wins 1st And 3rd

Triumph Wins 1st And 3rd

Author: Tomas Yoko
Date: 2016-08-12
Triumph Motorcycles have stamped their mark yet again in the Bike Of The Year (BOTY) competition, this year taking first and third positions with two of their models.

The home of Triumph in KZN is East Coast Motorcycles, and that is where you will find the Triumph Thruxton, overall winner of BOTY and the Triumph Explorer 12000 XCA, which took third place in BOTY.

Now the Triumph Thruxton, having taken the world by storm, is a marvellous piece of English engineering, the upside down forks and Brembo brakes with 310mm discs are an indication of where this motorcycle is at. Owens rear piggy back shock absorbers and an unassuming cafÈ racer styling just adds to this bike's appeal.

The third placed Triumph Explorer is a go anywhere adventure machine that raises the bar in so many ways. A very deserving winner that will be as much at home in the roughest terrain as it is on the road. No, sorry that is not accurate, this machine is so much at home in the dirt, I don't think it could be any more at home in any other environment.

But you be the judge, contact East Coast Motorcycles on 032 - 566 3024 and take these winners for a test ride.
