For over 30 years UTH, a family run business, has rendered specialised services; initially in Johannesburg in the early 80's and in Kwa-Zulu Natal since 1994.
Their unique web sites, https://www.uth.co.za and https://www.sectionaltitlecentre, which attracted countrywide interest, prompted an expansion program to serve a broader spectrum of homeowners in sectional title units and gated estates.
The UTH Website provides unlimited online access to every owner in properties managed by UTH. Owners then have access to documents such as: rules, monthly reports, minutes, levy statements, notices, insurance policies, news and legislation updates etc. The level of information to which trustees require their owners to have access to, has no limits.
As a management agency UTH has partnered with a number of Associates and created specialised Divisions that provide essential and non-essential services to bodies corporate.
Sectional Title Centre is the sister website of UTH.co.za, and offers a host of additional services to community scheme role players including free online advisory services via the Forum / Chatroom, Online dispute resolution through evaluative mediation, STC Radio and a large library of relevant News and legislation announcements.
With their other associate Urbanise/MyStrata which includes MyCommunity, bodies corporate are given the option to step up a notch to services which include the ability to view live statements, print old invoices and even sell second-hand goods. In their electronic communication network they can create events, chat on a Community Wall or create a private wall for Trustees. With these services you can view important documents like notices and minutes of meetings, raise and track maintenance requests and have access to extensive reporting for both management and financial documents. That is just one aspect of the services available from UTH.
Insurance is one of the most essential services and UTH has selected WILKINSON as their preferred community scheme insurance brokers. Wilkinson Insurance Brokers are able to arrange full property evaluations and needs analysis at a nominal cost. Wilkinson Insurance Brokers have a representative in the UTH offices on a weekly basis, servicing their clients and staff needs. Mark Howard has been closely associated with UTH for over ten years now.
All UTH accounts managers are registered with Paddocks Club, an invaluable facility in maintaining the ever-changing levels of knowledge required in the community scheme management industry.
UTHSD is a service division that assists trustees by providing them with professional advice and guidance regarding maintenance issues, speeding up the process of attending to matters and avoiding aggravation and in friction between the owners, the trustees and the managing agent, through on-going communication.
Many of the original staff employed by the company in 1994 are still with UTH today and now occupy senior management positions.

Trustees and Owner training
Trustees are coached and guided regarding their duties and responsibilities in terms of the act and they are provided with a "Trustees Package" which explains in detail what their duties and powers are and how to best manage the complex. This and much more is made available either on the website of UTH or within your body corporate's personalized website from Strataware. In addition regular free training seminars are held for owners and trustees at no cost.
UTH Creates a comprehensive and interactive unit with the Trustees, Owners and Managing Agents. They hold an Estate Agency Affairs Board Fidelity Certificate, their principals and executive officers are registered estate agents who also hold Fidelity Certificates. This means that your funds are protected by the Estate Agency Affairs Board fidelity fund. UTH, in addition to being registered with the EAAB is a member of the National Association of Managing Agents (NAMA) that has a strict Code of Conduct that must be adhered to by their members.
