The upper parking lot was filled with barking Pooches strutting their way on stage to win amazing prizes, sponsored by Hill's Pet Food, Petland at The Crescent, Wimpy, Milk Café, Kyron, Eukanuba, Afrivet, Manoli's Munchies, Rogz, Pick n Pay and ACANA.

Pooches participated in the various Pooch competition, namely; Biggest Pooch, Smallest Pooch, Best Dressed Pooch, Best Pooch Trick, Best owner-Pooch look-a-like, Most Pampered Pooch and Most Obedient Pooch.

Customers enjoyed the day filled with over 30 food, craft and pert related stalls offered advice and sales, Customers were encouraged to post a PELFIE in the Photo Booth and post onto The Crescent Facebook Page. Venai Naicker won by receiving the highest number of votes, winning himself a weekend Holiday getaway

The main aim of the event was to raise awareness and funds for 3 well-known local animal rescue non-profit organisations, Feral Cat Rescue, Dachshund Haven and Monkey Helpline.

The event was a major success where The Crescent handed over the cheque to each organisation from the proceeds raised from the event on Friday, 27th November.

Pick n Pay at The Crescent was also very generous to R1,000 gift voucher to each of the organisations as well.
