The unusual scoring in the AutObarn SuperHatch series and inverted grid that sees the top drivers who have won previous races/heats move to the 2nd and 3rd row of the grid and allows the class B and C drivers to mix it with the class A drivers. Making it much tougher for the quicker class A drivers who must fight their way through traffic and desperately stay out of trouble.
It may make for great competitive door to door racing for the spectators, but many think that the rules are tough on the quicker class A drivers, class B and C drivers can win the series and never cross the line is first place on the day. Points to date after 4 rounds sees 9 of the class B and C drivers in the top 12 overall positions. The three fastest drivers hold 7th, 8th and 10th spot after 4 rounds.
