Isuzu Sees Me Through

Isuzu Sees Me Through

Author: Tomas Yoko
Date: 2015-03-13

It was going to be a haul, a fully laden trailer and a long winding road filled with mountain passes, rough roads and obstacles everywhere.

I had no apprehension about the trip, I was behind the wheel of the Isuzu KB 350 D-TEQ 4X4. I was powerful.

The road stretched ahead of me long flat and straight as I settled into the comfort of the drivers seat. The speedo cruise came in really handy and responded with enthusiasm whenever I set or reset it.

This was comfort, comfortable seating and comfortable riding as well as the comfort of knowing that the Isuzu had more than enough power to do the job at hand.

We had filled the trailer as well as the bin, which had a stylish colour matched canopy, and the Isuzu didn't even seem to feel the weight. Soon we were amongst the foothills and then it was mountainous territory. I didn't even need to shift out of sixth gear, just applied a little more pressure to the accelerator and the Isuzu gurgled in response, taking everything in its stride. I can see now why the Isuzu range of KB bakkies is so much loved by South Africans; this bakkie was a model example motoring bliss. Shifting from 2 X 4 into 4 X 4 was a breeze and the amount of power available made some of the sandy dunes seem as though they weren't even there.

All Isuzu KB models are sold with a fully-comprehensive 5-year/ 120000 km warranty and roadside assistance programme, a 5-year/ unlimited mileage anti-corrosion warranty and a 5-year/ 90000 km service plan. Service intervals are 15000 km or twelve months for all derivatives.

For more information contact CMH GM Umhlanga on 031 940 7858 or call in at their new showroom, 115 Flanders Drive, Mt Edgecombe.
