Toyota Comes Out Tops In Latest Kinsey Report
Toyota scored the highest in the "Compact Crossover" and the "Full-sized Crossover" categories with the Avanza 1.5 SX and the Fortuner 3.0 D-4D respectively. The Avanza came in with a parts' basket of just R53,488 - the most notable being the service parts which were by far the most affordable in the group.
Another Toyota win, this time the Fortuner, heads the prestigious crossover class, with a parts basket of R81,958. Where this model shines is when it comes to repair costs - the Fortuner's crash parts being much lower than any of its competitors.
Toyota also excelled in the "Family Favourites" category where the evergreen Corolla scored a very laudable second place. Newcomer Etios came fourth overall in the highly competitive "Entry-Level" category.
John Oliver, Vice President of Customer service for Toyota South Africa, said that these latest accolades "affirm Toyota's commitment to being not just the sales leader, but also the forerunner when it comes to customer service, of which parts' delivery plays a crucial part."
Proof of Toyota's commitment to service excellence is the new R363 million Parts' Distribution Centre in Ekurhuleni, Gauteng which was officially opened this month.
