PC Training Group launches in Ballito.

PC Training Group launches in Ballito.

Date: 2014-11-21

The year 2015 will mark the 25th Anniversary of PC Training & Business College (PCT&BC) as a leading education service provider and the achievement of a milestone as leaders in technology with unsurpassed deliverables. The Institute launched its R100 million, first-ever learning initiative in 2012 which revolutionized and enhanced learning experience and the higher education landscape in South Africa.

Lecturers at Contact Campuses benefit from digital information warehouses, which also simplifies programme administration, allowing individual learner tracking and monitoring of performance. Support interventions are then directed to specific learners or group of learners.

PC Training & Business College (PCT&BC) held a Principal Forum meeting on Friday 14th November 2014, which was well attended by Principals on the North Coast and the Assistant Chief Education Specialist of Masukuzela - Gandhi: Circuit Management Centre. Mr S A Chetty who stated that the school community welcomed PCT&BC's new Umhlanga and Ballito campuses as they will add value in our partnership in career development for learners.

Yuven Naidoo, Director of PCT&BC echoed the sentiments of CEO, Jay Ramnundlall, stating that he was aware that many universities locally and abroad investigated the use of similar products and ways to improve learners' educational experiences, but he did not know of any that had "taken this bold step" and actually made a similar commitment of this magnitude. Ramnundlall has emphasized that improving access and success through quality teaching and learning is only strengthened through the use of technology such as Tablet PCs, and it's for this reason that the Institution chose to sacrifice profits and become the forerunner in improving and enhancing the quality of education.

Students registering at any of the 75 PC Training & Business College campuses for a Diploma, Degree and other Programmes that exceed one year will each receive a Tablet PC pre-loaded with educational materials, including study-guides and access to the Institution's Learner Campus Administration System and its Learner Management System. Apart from the convenience of carrying fewer textbooks, students also benefit from always having their content with them anytime and anywhere, at their finger-tips. The Tablet PC allows for easy and convenient downloading, communicating, collaborating, sharing and facilitating engagement in the learning experience at the Institution.

The Principals expressed that they were excited at the opening of the Ballito Campus and looked forward to the PCT&BC experience for the learners, business and educators. Contact: Shantas@pctrainingonline.co.za to attend your school career guidance workshops, your individual assessment and your business/corporate employee development plan. Educator's will also be briefed on specific programmes for their own development.
