Well now we know exactly what kind of radical economic transformation Julius has planned for our economy. After the VBS allegation there were more allegations being bandied about, this time more of the same, tender fraud to the tune of 12 Billion Rands in Tswane with the EFF city manager getting fingered.
The DA are surely running their fingers through their hair in disbelief at the huge Race Card they were just shown by the four Cape Town City councillors who left the DA with race cards held high in the air for all to see.
Jeeesh, looking around the political scene in South Africa today looks like a cross between a hungry jackal in the chicken coup and a stick of dynamite going off in a barrel of two hundred Rand notes. Shit, feathers, money, blood and tears are flying in every direction. Political careers are dissolving faster than a dose of headache powder. I have not seen the Gigabyte video and will not sully my consciousness with that filth. I cannot believe how many of these politicians are completely coated in Teflon.
Hats off to our president who brought home the bacon with his investment drive, two hundred and ninety billion Rands pledged to invest in our country. Don't tell Julius about it.
What's happening in Port Elizabeth, that mayor's seat is a hot one I tell you. Surely they can't blame the wind for their troubles.
Then just as I was about to call the euthanasia services I stumbled across the story of how our air brained ambassador to Venezuela offered up our countries military might to defend the country against attack from Donald Trump and his band of merry bomb dropping military men. I was cured of my despair instantly, the tears flowing down my cheeks were from the gut wrenching belly laughs I was having while reading how Joseph made his stand against the American military might saying things like "The days of the US dominating the world are numbered" and "We are going to support them, we are not going to let them die alone." There you go.
The barbaric murder of Cape Town lawyer Pete Mihalik as he dropped his kids off at school sent shivers through my being, the heartlessness of the act made my soft bits curl in utter shame and disgust at where we're headed.
News of Angela Merkel preparing to step down took me by surprise, I thought she was a Duracell Bunny that never ended, but it seems that her party is slipping badly in the polls, it won't be long now.
Back home again and the travesty that is the e-toll debacle is going to have its day in court, I hope they tell those Austrians to come and take their gantries and their software, claim back any money they may or may not have advanced to any official, government or non profit organisation, and head back home to Austria with it all.
