Music and hats at the Christmas Fair Fund ChariTEA

Music and hats at the Christmas Fair Fund ChariTEA

Date: 2013-07-19
Tickets are selling fast for the Christmas Fair Fund Vintage Musical ChariTEA which will be held on 1 August at Ballito's five star Hotel Izulu. Dress code is picture hats and pretty frocks.

Guests will be treated to music by the newly formed Amici group of professional north coast musicians, under the leadership of Sareen Roberts. The group includes Tara Blake (violin), Katharine Embling (French horn), Rosanne Paragon (flute), Nina Watson (cello) and Sareen Roberts and Heidi van Schoor (piano).

Amici was formed to give musicians in the area the opportunity to perform and share their talents with a greater audience. Students of these musicians will also be performing at the ChairTEA.

The programme includes ensemble items, popular classics and old favourites and part of the programme will have a distinct Spanish flavour with music by Bizet, Moskowski and Monti.

Tickets are R150 per person and the proceedings will start at 2.30 pm. Please contact Marion Murless on 083789 9046 or Ray Thompson on 083225 4934 to book. All money raised will be distributed to north coast charities.
