Bass Day

Bass Day

Date: 2016-10-28
The 2016 annual Bass Day, held on 29 October at Musketeers, the German Club in Westville, brings together bass players from all over the country for an event that will feature some of SA's most celebrated bassists.

The 2nd BASS DAY is up and running and will take place from 4pm. Entrance fee is R50 which includes a raffle ticket for some great prizes.

The MC's for the evening are Glen Turrell (legend Bass Player), Paul Fuhri and T-Bone (DYR Radio personality)

We are so please to be having a second Bass Day..still not equaled anywhere else in South Africa..Durban does it again. We have a great line up this year:

Its on the 29th October at the same place..Musketeers The German club Westville. Owner Charmaine is one of the greatest supporters of live music in this town.

There will be the collective bass number at the end of the show with as many bass players as possible, this time it will be led by Trevor Donjeany with one of his compositions. Always an interesting number as bass players come up from the audience and take over from another bassist and play....one wonders if the number is ever going to end!
