"Originally from Johannesburg, we decided to make the life-changing decision to move to KZN for a lifestyle by the sea. This decision has taken our family from strength to strength. We support one another in our beliefs and dreams; each child has his or her dream of being 'somebody'. Keeping those dreams alive is a priority for me. Assisting them in their decisions, helping them grow into the best people they can be and enforcing the good that each of us can encourage in others' lives. It starts with a smile, a hug or even a hand-out of food or water. These attributes will be a legacy to each of our children that they will leave for their children. A legacy of real substance," Lisa emphasized. They are the proud parents of four children, Gabriella (17), Isabella (8), Daniella (5) and Cruz-Cristiano (3).
"Mrs United Nation South Africa, to me, is a woman with the inspiration to achieve and strive for more in her life, and never giving up on what she believes. She is a role model, spokesperson and strength for many people. I believe in myself and know that I am capable of taking on the role of inspiring other like-minded women that they can have a marriage, raise a family, build a career, take care of their community and still have a life - an exhilarating balanced life! All expressed with elegance, poise and grace. Life is all about balance - moderation in every aspect. I believe that this competition is the perfect platform for me to reach more people and acquire the support I need to assist each community in South Africa. I have a firm grounding in humanitarian aid and I have the backing of many members and companies in KZN and Johannesburg.
"As a finalist in the Mrs United Nation South Africa, my chosen platform to work from is PINC - People Investing in Needs of Communities. As a non-profit organisation, PINC works with feeding schemes; bra and panty initiatives and underwear for boys; hygiene care; Breast Cancer Awareness and early detection of breast cancer; missions to remote areas; aiding other NPO's with relief aid such as 'brand new shoes', brand new bras and panties, food to shelters, orphanages, baby homes, and community members, as well as hygiene products for those families in need. Where necessary, as discreetly as possible!"
Lisa's message to South Africa is: 'Be yourself, be fair and never regret. Life is a gift. Live it. And faith will bring you through it.' For more information on how you can assist, contact Lisa at: Mobile: +27 73 953 6771 or e-mail: lisa@smart-art.za.net Good luck, Lisa!
