In celebration of the summer holiday with promise of long lazy days, the Ladysmith Black Mambazo academy presents the first Inanda Dam World Music Festival featuring the stella line up of Ladysmith Black Mambazo; Lira; Oliver Mtukudzi; The Muffinz; Mbuso Khoza; Steve Kekana; Shabalala Rythms, Jeremy Oliverand Joe Nina to take place at the dam on Sunday 9 December.

"Our intention is for this event to happen annually and become one of Durban's and KZN's signature festive season events. The idea is to feature some of Africa's greatest music icons who have made it big globally thereby promoting African culture through music and other arts forms," explains festival organiser Xolani Majozi.

Inanda Dam festival tickets are now available at Computicket a R200 per person. Children under 10 are free. Bring picnics (no glass bottles) and blankets, fold up chairs and sunhats. There will also be refreshments for sale.
