What's the issue?

What's the issue?

Author: Tomas Yoko

Okay, so what's going on? Our president is refusing to pay back the monies spent on his Nkandla residence, or no, I am wrong there, he is not refusing, the ruling party is effectively sweeping under the carpet any and all responsibility for any and all upgrades to the President's private home that were not for security purposes, merely because Mathole Motshekga, now seen as the ANC's "enforcer", claims that the President did not order these upgrades and so he should not have to pay for them. No, instead you and I and the poorest of the poor people of this beautiful country should pay for it. The rational behind this is that the architect ordered it, not No.1.

I was deeply saddened by the news that the ANC refused to stand by the findings of a very important function of our democratic constitution. That they can take the findings of the public prosecutor and reduce it to so much drivel with total impunity is a very sad sad day indeed.

But that is cotton candy compared to the carnival that we have going on in the Middle East. I mean you would need to be a MENSE genius to be able to figure it out. I was send into a petit mal seizure when I heard that Obommer or his cronies, the UN or NATO or some such body asked Russia to help with the air strikes against the Islamic State, IS.

WOW, how insensitive or beguiling can you get. Let's try and make sense of what is going on. The USA now supports the Iraqi government, particularly in their efforts against IS. IS is supported by Saudi Arabia and the US is totally against President Assad of Syria, but wants to help him with the problem of IS. The US is against Iran in a big way but willing to join forces with them to fight IS.

This all came about by the US invading Iraq to drive out terrorists that weren't in Iraq until the US went there to drive them out. So effectively they created the problem that they are trying to solve now.

What I want to know if is all these enemies get together to destroy IS, then once that is done do they go back to trying to destroy each other. I mean, don't get me wrong, I am appalled at the atrocities of the IS militants. Disgusted to my very core at the stories and vulgarities that are coming out of the region. I just don't get it.

In the meantime we have lost half the worlds wildlife population in the last 50 years, the Aral Sea has all but dried up and conservationists the world over are banging their drums louder and louder to what seems to be a more hard of hearing public and world leadership. Hold on, here we go.
