Gianni's Cooks Up A Storm
Date: 2019-09-06
Having suffered debilitating storm damage to his restaurant Gianni's, owner John Coburn has revamped 'Ballito's little Italy' and is now creating a storm of his own at his restaurant Gianni's, right on the beach in old town Ballito.
Gianni's has the prominent position in Ballito, overlooking the most splendid sea views, where John Coburn is generating a storm of delight with his patrons and Gianni's amazing opening specials. From the traditional, well known and much love Mama's Breakfast special, which for a limited period now comes with free tea or coffee, to the indulgent seafood platter for two, packed with succulent seafood langoustines, King prawns, calamari and much more.
Gianni's is a popular breakfast meeting place, with the sun rising over the Indian Ocean and the morning sea breeze wafting its freshness everywhere, the new sundeck and sash windows afford you the most spectacular sea views.
Gianni's also offers a selection of banting meals, vegan and vegetarian options and a range of diabetic friendly meals as well. "We prepare fresh ingredients to your liking. Our Chef will make it the way you like it, if it's not on our menu," said John enthusiastically.
The bar beckoned to me with its dew drenched draught taps winking at me, the promise of ice-cold golden frothy liquid so certain. The barman's prowess with cocktails is legendary I have been led to believe.
Call Gianni's on 032 946 3217 or 083 414 8372 and book a table, a year-end function, a celebration or a romantic dinner for two.
