Book an art class with exhibiting artist Mlamuli Mkhwanazi on Saturday 25 May 2019 from 09h00 - 12h00. Saturday Sessions happen every Saturday at The KZNSA Gallery.
Mlamuli Siboniso Mkhwanazi is a Johannesburg-based visual artist who was born 1992 in Empembeni outside Esikhawini township, Richards Bay, South Africa.
Mkhwanazi was encouraged by his family to explore art as a career at age 10 he liked to sketch with charcoal and other mixed mediums.
He received his first formal fine art training at John Ross College from histeacher, Mogie Achary, and later through The BAT Centre Artists in Residency (AIR). Here he also studied sculpture under the mentorship of Lungelo Gumede and Clive Sithole.
Mkhwanazi has participated in numerous art workshops and exhibited in galleries nationally as well as internationally. His work can be found in collections on all seven continents.
