What's the Issue?
What's the Issue?

With the laying of wreaths in one news report and the blasting of missile guided bombs in the next news report, it seems we are a species of warmongers.
I can't help but be perplexed by the on-going American appetite for war and the latest retort from their worst nightmare, Vladimir Putin, makes it look as though the gloves are now off and the diplomatic posturing is clearing so we can see the real agendas.
Putin was talking at Sochi at a national military development meeting saying that the decoy American agenda of a missile shield is something else completely. The layers of the onion are peeling off. Putin revealed his hand recently speaking out against the American interference saying "References to Iran and North Korea nuclear threats are just a cover for the true purpose of NATO missile defense. That is to neutralize the potential of other nuclear states not the US or its allies - primarily Russia," He went on to say "The US is attempting to achieve strategic military superiority, with all the consequences that entails." He even said more, "We have pointed out that these actions [construction of the shield] are an attempt to undermine the nuclear parity principle, and to destabilize the existing world and regional order."
So Vladimir Putin is not going to take this lying down, he is tired of being ignored about this issue and so they have developed missiles that can work through the missile shields America is creating. Why kick the hornet's nest? I ask with tears in my eyes. But I suppose it won't be their women and children that will be sent to war to die for the cause and the flag. It is so insane I want to pull my hair out, but I would look even more silly than with it in.
Talking about silly, isn't it cool that even Armscor think that a four billion Rand personal Jet for Jacob Zuma is not a practical decision. I wonder if that will make any difference to the decision? It might not have been so bad for our President if the toilet saga hadn't been exposed. Six hundred and thirty one million Rand for sixty six thousand toilets, that gives me an estimated nine thousand five hundred and sixty Rand per toilet. Luxury.
The students protest on in vain while we go about our daily business distributing the very wealth that could save our economy and give our people dignity.
