Vodacom Easter Fever Beach Festival

Vodacom Easter Fever Beach Festival

Date: 2014-04-18
It's once again time for the Vodacom Easter Fever Beach Festival.

The mobile network service provider will once again return as title sponsors for the much-anticipated 2014 event, which is set to take place in Ballito and Margate from April 18-20.

"We are once again excited to have Vodacom on board as we look to provide an event which enhances the holiday experiences of all of the beach goers who head down to the Vodacom Easter Fever festival in both Ballito and Margate over the Easter weekend," event organiser, Rowan Clelland, said.

"Vodacom Easter Fever is an interactive event that not only provides a holiday vibe for beach goers, but at the same time, allows them an opportunity to get involved in fun activities while they are enjoying their holiday."

"Of course, they also stand a chance to win some cool prizes."

"We have loads of exciting activities lined up in both Margate and Ballito to entertain all during the festive period."

Highlights of the spectacle include the Vodacom Miss Easter Fever pageant and the Vodacom Treasure Hunt.

Vodacom KZN's Managing Executive, Alberts Breed, said Vodacom were excited to be part of the family focused event, which not only provided a weekend out at some of the province's most beautiful beaches, but will also keep both holiday goers and locals of all ages thoroughly entertained for the festive period.

"Vodacom is extremely pleased to, again, be a part of the Easter Fever festival," he said. "We, as a company, look forward to the event each year and I am sure this year's production will be even better than its predecessors." Breed added that the event, which will host touch rugby and beach soccer tournaments, promoted a healthy outdoor lifestyle - a lifestyle Vodacom was an advocate of.
