Sea fun and skywalks await at uShaka

Sea fun and skywalks await at uShaka

Author: Ane Roux

Gasps of delight followed by ooohs of amazement and shrills of excitement is what you will hear as you enter the fantastic uShaka Marine World and Aquarium, even after the sun has set. The team has pulled out all the stops in making sure there is plenty to see and experience during this festive season.

This year, visitors will not only be able to view some of the best marine exhibitions and enjoy trilling water slides, they will now also be able to swing across the park via the new rope adventure course. The popular dolphin and seal shows have also been extended to the evenings making uShaka Marine World a great destination for families to end busy summer days.

Stella Khumalo, chief executive at uShaka Marine World said the elevated nature of the rope walk attraction allowed uShaka to make maximum use of the space available as well as showcase the beautiful views over Durban's Golden Mile and Point Waterfront. "The dolphin and seal shows are scheduled to take place at night during this summer holiday and the rope adventure course will also remain open."

It is clear that no family visit to Durban will be complete without a day spent at uShaka Marine World this year.
