Comedy is back at Live!

Comedy is back at Live!

Date: 2012-04-11
Due to the popularity of the first show, Live the Venue in Stamford Hill road will be hosting their second stand up Comedy event on April 12th at 19h30.

Legendary comedian Fernando Lamy, a name that has been associated with top comedy for over 38 years, will be the MC for the evening and will welcome 3 comedians from the Durban area to do what they do best!

You will be laughing from start to finish with Jem Atkins, KZN's "Best Newcomer" of 2009, who also made it to the third round of SA's Got Talent on SABC in the same year. Dusty Rich, a Toti boy who is a tattoo artist by day trade and has a style of comedy that is lucid and physical, but is honest and hilariously self-deprecating as he takes you on a manic ride from his childhood and into a very unusual place that he calls reality. The other guest comedian to grace the stage on Thursday will be Neil Green, a regular on the "Bruin Ou's" comedy shows as well as on the Durban School of Comedy circuit, with a comedy style that is relaxed and unassuming as he talks about life as a coloured man in the Rainbow Nation.

Tickets are R60 for adults and R50 for students who produce a valid student ID card. There will be awesome drinks specials and doors open at 19h30. Be sure to get there early to get your spot in the front row! Adults only!

If you're looking for a good laugh, join us at the comedy night at Live (166 Matthews Meyiwa Road / Stamfordhill Road), Durban's new state-of-the-art live venue.
