Many might have been relieved to hear Zuma say "never ever" in relation to a third term as president of South Africa, a travesty that our constitution does not allow for, however there is no limit on the number of times he can be president of the ANC. I wonder how the ANC feel about that.
I'm sure they feel good about the new found interest in cracking down on corruption, seven months prior to the elections. A little late Jacob, I'd say. So much water is under that bridge, and the ANC has so much to offer this country, the role it plays is so hugely influential and with that comes huge responsibility. I think I will "shuddup" right there. Just now I start stating the obvious and then I will be swimming out there where the big ships wait for a chance to slip into Durban's harbour. Suffice to say that it is my opinion that someone else should be initiating that campaign.
On the subject of presidents, Putin seems frustrated by the release of the findings into the downing of flight MN17. It is a little reassuring for him and for Russia and the Russian citizens of the Ukraine that the missile was launched from an area controlled by Kiev.
The possible future president of the USA, Hilarious Clinton started leaning a little to the left on the podium of her campaign. More like she nearly fell off the left side of her podium, trying to appease the unions and other voters who are not quite eating out of her hand yet.
I am still in awe of the media reporting coming out of the Middle East crisis. The Russian efforts to stabilise Syria and the surrounding territories are being targeted by propaganda with America seemingly crying over the damage Russian efforts are inflicting on American backed rebel groups, responsible for much of the fighting and terror being reigned down on the Syrian people. Putin seems committed to stabilising the region so as to create a political settlement of the issues at hand. Something America seems completely against. They have spent so much money, five hundred million dollars to be close to the exact figure, so not to get their puppet president would surely be worse than sand in their ice cream. Just this week the US was idiotic enough to send fifty tons of ammunition to rebel groups in Syria, making it look like the US and Russia are now in a proxy war over Syria.
I am no political analyst expert, as you have by now observed, however I don't think you need to be a rocket fuel scientist to see that this means more civilians will pay with their blood and their lives and their children's lives just so that the US can choose Syria's president.
