The Merebank Justice Network is hosting a fundraising dinner and dance evening at the Enchanted Gardens (old Durban International Airport) onFriday, 16 September 2016, commencing at6pm. The keynote speaker is the retired judge of the Constitutional Court and former anti-apartheid lawyer and political activist, Zak Yacoob,who will speak on Advance Democracy,Protect, Defend and Strengthen South Africa's Constitution.

Among the special guests will be anti-racism campaign stalwarts, Sunny Singh, Ela Gandhi, Dilly Naidoo, retired High Court Judge Thumba Pillay and reinstated IPID police chief Robert McBride, Diakonia Council's Paddy Kearney and many notable activists and guests from the South Durban Triangle.

"The Merebank Justice Network has been initiated by a group of seasoned activists to defend, protect and strengthen our Constitution, thereby ensuring citizens are treated equally before the law," according to the founding committee members,Pops Rampersad 081 443 419 and Dr Roshan Chandika 083 982 2338, who can contacted to book a table for ten at R250 per guest.
