Three cities set to shine at Totalsports Women's Race

Three cities set to shine at Totalsports Women's Race

Date: 2019-08-09

For the first time since the event's inception in 2001, the Totalsports Women's Race will celebrate National Women's Day across three cities: Durban, Johannesburg and Cape Town on Friday 09 August 2019. "We will have full access of the event routes from +-07:00 - 13:00 on Women's Day," says Agne du Plessis, Stillwater Sports General Manager: Road Running. "Although not all the roads will be closed for the full duration of the event, certain roads will be closed while other roads will implement 'rolling stops'. Where possible, to avoid frustration, we request that locals make use of alternative routes. Alternatively, if you are not running, join us on the finish line to welcome runners home. At 09:50 runners and supporters will be treated to an energetic live performance by Moonchild (Durban), Boity (Johannesburg) and Paxton (Cape Town)."
