Kitso's Crazy About The Tiguan

Kitso's Crazy About The Tiguan

Author: Tomas Yoko
Date: 2012-04-18
Kitso smiled broadly when I asked him about the Volkswagen Tiguan. He immidiately began telling me about the two versions of the Tiguan available and the diffirent engine derivatives that the Tiguan is equipped with.

Only someone who is really interested could have rattled off the specs of the two different apporach angles that the Tiguan offers. One is a base version with 18 degrees of approach angle for urban driving and the other is designed with a 28 degree approach angle for off road and dirt road conditions.

I could tell that Kitso kiles the good things in life as he pointed out the luxurious interior cabin with upright seating positions, the rear seats can be adjusted back and forwards and can also be reclined. Kitso went on about the petrol drive TSi models with BlueMotion technology in the Tiguan, ranging from the 1.4 TSI that produces 90 kilowatts and the 1.4 Tsi that produces 118 kilowatts. Then there is the 2.0 litre Tdi Diesel version that generates 81 kilowatts. The Tiguan is also available in all wheel drive, called 4Motion. The 2.0 litre models in this derivative are equipped with Volkswagen's 7 speed DSG gearbox that Kitso could not stop raving about.

If you are interested in the Tiguan, or any other model of the Volkswagen range, then give Kitso a ring at McCarthy Volkswagen Umhlanga on 031 566 9700 or pop into the showroom at 6 to 8 Sunset Crescent, Umhlanga Ridge and Kitso will arrange for a test drive in a Tiguan. Believe me you are in safe hands with Kitso and McCarthy Volkswagen Umhlanga.
