The month of August brings with it the opportunity for us acknowledge amazing women within our midst that have a special story and journey. We all are unique and work the hardest to ensure that the many roles we play are fulfilled daily. This month we wish to honour a few unique souls that have made a significant difference in the lives of the many that come within their fold.
I was so excited to meet and read about Mrs. Farah Manjoo, a Holistic Empowerment Coach and Learning Strategist and the owner of Baraaqa Healing Sanctuary and Learning centre. She assist kids, students and women to find the diamond within them and actualize their full potential in all areas of their life. This is done by using cutting edge techniques of The Journey, Brain Gym, Kinesiology, Life skills coaching and Aafiyah Energy healing.
A women who is beautiful, sincere and passionate about facilitating the healing and inner transformation of children as it brings her immense joy to watch them transform into beautiful butterflies, ultimately reaching their true potential. She empowers women to claim back their power and attain their dreams and goals with ease and assists young mothers in finding a balance between their career and home life, thereby building the life that they ultimately desire for themselves. Farah consults in Stanger on the North coast, offering sessions for individuals one on one, groups, workshops and Skype sessions local and international.
Since she was a little girl, she always perceived herself as an Educator. She felt that it would be a great honour to mold children into successful adults. Little did she know that her life purpose would encompass so much more. Farah says, 'Looking back I see a long road of striving towards something that was not a destination, but only the beginning of my personal growth and evolution. The achievement of my BEd degree after having my second child awakened in me the realisation that I am indeed destined for great things, and that with dedication and perseverance anything was possible, which motivated me to sign up for the Journey Practitioners Programme. I am now an International Accredited Journey Practitioner and reach out to people all over the world.'
Farah is currently studying towards a degree in Clinical Psychology through UNISA whilst being a mother of three beautiful kids and running her own healing and empowerment practice. Farah is living her dream and her true purpose in life. And being the shining diamond adding her special sparkle to our world.
