"I am because of others" epitomises the Ardmore brand. Beverly Hills couldn't have chosen a better partner to celebrate Woman's Day. Ladies lunch with Ardmorewas a truly spectacular afternoon.

The South African heritage brand, where family and creativity tell endless stories. Ardmore Ceramic Art, based in KwaZulu-Natal, is South Africa's premier ceramic studio with a 30-year history.

Seventy artists collaborate under the mentorship of Ardmore's award-winning founder, FÈe Halsted, to create pieces that feature in fine art collections and exhibitions around the world.

Guests were welcomed with a gin and tonic, followed by a three-course lunch, inclusive of the refined Steenberg Sauvignon Blanc sparkling wine and gorgeous gifting.

Chef, PrenolanNaidoo wowed the ladies with his culinary brilliance, for starters guests were served Baked Tomato Galette with goats' cheese, tapenade and pumpkin seeds, followed by the main course, Thyme-infused Sous Vide Chicken Breast with star anise butternut puree, sautÈed spinach spiked with chilli flakes, brunoise potato and a black cherry chicken jus. There was a delicious vegetarian option of Butternut Ravioli with whipped Gorgonzola crème fraiche and almonds. As always the dessert stole the show with Dulce Chocolate Mud Cake and dark chocolate mousse, served with a mint macaron, salted caramel sauce and mint-infused honeycomb.

A magnanimous event it really was.
