This primary school programme is centred in a narrative dance performance about a hunter who has been turned into a seven headed snake by an old woman jealous of his wife's beautiful singing voice. It incorporates singing, Djembe drums and spoken word which complements the texture of the dance performance.
The work has a duration of 50 minutes and is highly interactive, with opportunity for active participation by the learners that will see some of them form part of the performance. As part of the educational programme, learners are also required to engage in the themes and lessons in the story through an interactive discussion.
Bookings are available weekdays from 4 - 22 April at fee of R10 per learner. For bookings please contact our studio on 031 - 307 6685 or email . Many schools have already shown a great deal of interest, do not let your school's learners miss this thrilling opportunity to engage with dance performed by this internationally acclaimed dance theatre company.
