The guests were introduced to theassociated benefits of storing their healthy white blood cells for the treatment of Cancer, should it occur later on in life - bysecuring an immunotherapy treatment option. Dr Nicolene Shaw explained the process of extracting approximately 200mls of blood, separating the red and white blood cells, testing the level of potential Cancer fighting immune (white) cells, comprising predominantly of monocytes and T-Cells, and cryogenically storing it. Should you be diagnosed with Cancer, these disease-free white blood cells can be used to create a vaccine for the type of Cancer you are fighting.
''Your body is equipped to destroy Cancer cells, as it is does so on a daily basis,'' explains Dr Shaw. ''Stress, lifestyle and age does unfortunately affect the fighting capacity of our immune system which is why Cancer is so prevalent. If we can restore your body back to its optimal state through immunotherapy, you will have an excellent chance of overcoming any form of Cancer.''
