Rosberg wins third in a row, for Mercedes in the F1 Pirelli Chinese GP this Sunday:

There was no shortage of drama in the Chinese Grand Prix however Mercedes' Nico Rosberg managed to secure his third consecutive win; effectively marking what many believe to be the beginning of a new era.

Three different teams found the podium on Sunday with Ferrari's Sebastian Vettel finding second and Red Bull's Daniil Kvyat coming in third.

Red Bull led the way at the start with Ricciardo getting the jump on Rosberg from P2 on the grid but things did not necessarily go very smoothly from there.

Kvyat made a decisive move down the inside of Vettel at Turn 2, which obviously startled the German, causing him to veer left into the path of his team mate Raikkonen - the pair made contact, pitching Raikkonen into a half spin and forcing him into the pit with damages. Vettel, meanwhile, lost ground and dropped to eighth.

Also caught in the pile up was Hamilton who lost his front wing after contact with Felipe Nasr as the Sauber driver tried to avoid the action, while Romain Grosjean damaged his Haas's nose on the sister Sauber of Marcus Eric.

Hamilton produced a terrific start to the race after suffering a five-place grid penalty due to having replaced the gearbox after the trouble in Bahrain. He managed to maneuver his Mercedes into 7th at the finish.

The next meeting is at the Sochi Autodrom in Russia with the first practice on Friday the 29th of April and Sunday the 1st of May being Race day.
