The Honda HR-V has so much visual appeal I was almost on its looks alone. The crouching Tiger approach to its looks is a keen indicator of what you can expect to find in the car.
I found a very willing motor under the sleek raking hood of the HR-V I road tested recently. The CVT Gearbox propelled me confidently up the hill on the M19 to Hillcrest. The power control was at my toes, I could keep the revs exactly where I wanted them and move them upp or down in the smallest of increments, precise control. I enjoyed the CVT Gearbox, especially for its gutsy enthusiasm.
The HR-V is making a splash on the SUV and MPV scene, the sloping roof gives it a very stylish, sleek attitude and the modern approach to the electronics and interior styling will affect a lot of buying decisions. Honda has been very generous with the spec level on the HR-V and the engines on offer in this model provide a gutsy performance with good fuel consumption figures.
Spacious and crammed with safety features, the seating system is magical, those seats seem to be totally swallowed up by the HR-V and the long list of acronyms like ABS et cetera are what we have come to expect from Honda.
