Suncoast and SANBS supports the Annual 5km Fun Run in aid of The Sunflower Fund

Suncoast and SANBS supports the Annual 5km Fun Run in aid of The Sunflower Fund

Date: 2017-09-07

The run/walk starts at the Amphitheatre in front of SUNCOAST and goes along the boardwalk to the Durban Spa Vacation Resort and back. Pre-registration is recommended. The entry fee is R60 and includes a Sunflower Tope (Tube of Hope).

Registration takes place at Pick n Pay Hyper in Durban North on Saturday, 2nd and 9th September between 10am to 5pm and at Suncoast Amphitheatre on Saturday, 9th September from 1pm to 3pm and Sunday, 10th September, from 7.30am to 9.00am. For any online registrations please visit https://www.webtickets.co.za.

Prize-giving will take place directly after the race and five substantial lucky draw prizes will be awarded. People of all ages and fitness levels are encouraged to participate as all money raised will be used to educate and register more blood stem cell donors to give hope of life to patients suffering from life-threatening chronic blood disorders like leukaemia. Come join in the fun and help The Sunflower Fund reach their target of 3000 participants.

The South African National Blood Services will be holding a mobile blood clinic so please support as your blood could save a life.

The Sunflower Fund would like to thank Pick n Pay Hyper, SUNCOAST and Round Table Natal North Coast for making the event possible and for their ongoing support.

For more information contact The Sunflower Fund Durban Office on 031 - 266 1148 or email Stephanie Berry on steph@sunflowerfund.org.za
