Clermont Community Choir Celebrate Their 20th Anniversary
The Clermont Community Choir is the undefeated champions at the famous prestigious Old Mutual National Choir Festival. The choir specialises in different music genres with a special focus on choral, opera, classical and African Indigenous music. The choir is based in Durban with 85 members based countrywide; membership varies from scholars, tertiary students, workers and employment-seekers.
In celebrating this concert the Clermont Community Choir will give exclusive performances and they will also perform with Gloria Bosman and the KZN Philharmonic Orchestra. A dinner will then follow after the concert and thereafter audiences are invited to socialise at the marquee that will be situated outside the City Hall.
The guests of honour for this evening are Ms. N. Sibhidla - Saphetha (MEC, Arts and Culture) & His Worship, Councillor James Nxumalo (Ethekwini Municipality Mayor).
