Nissan X-trail For The Active Set

Nissan X-trail For The Active Set

The aerodynamic nose of the new Nissan X-Trail ambled through my gates, its LED lights accentuating the positive expression of the grill. I heard the unbeaten track calling and immediately started thinking of where I could go to test drive this exemplary example of modern motorcar manufacturing.

The interior was lit up by natural light, streaming in through the glass sunroof and the plush, black-leather seats were so at home in the ultra modern design. A large touch screen housed NissanConnect, Nissan's smart technology that paired with my smart phone effortlessly, so effortlessly in fact that I felt as though I had made a breakthrough.

The new X-Trail is available in petrol or diesel and once you have fired up engine at the touch of a button, the true nature of the new X-Trail becomes apparent.

My six-speed manual X-Trail was thrilling and with all the Active Engine Braking, Active Trace Control and Active Ride Control, I was in my element. The All-Mode AWD and 4X4-i available on the X-Trail allows you to choose between full-time 2WD or when the conditions become tough 4WD Lock Mode is there to make your life easy. The Xtronic CVT automatic gearbox option will make things even easier for you.

Now with so much technology and functionality crammed into it you could be forgiven for thinking it was a luxury saloon. Blind Spot Warning and Lane Departure Warning and more and more, the X-Trail just continued to impress me.
