On A Winning Streek

On A Winning Streek

Date: 2012-10-17
East Coast Motorcycles are carrying the winning brands with the complete triumph for Max Biaggi Biaggi, who took his sixth world title on his Aprilia on the Magny-Cours track recently, and Kenan Sofuoglu, Kawasaki Lorenzini, who secured the title in the FIM Supersport World Championship at Portimao with a controlled second place, only 0.645 seconds from another race win.

Now they are proud to announce the imminent arrival of the new Ninja 300. And in true competitive spirit, it's not the size of the dog in the fight that counts, they say, but the size of the fight in the dog. Kawasaki has increased the size of the fight by launching a grown-up version of their class-leading Ninja 250 that will sell alongside the smaller-engined machine. The Ninja 300 delivers 18% more power and 24% more torque from a 20 % capacity increase, with 39 horsepower (29 kW) arriving at 11 000 rpm and 27 Nm of torque on tap at 10 000 rpm.

One very special feature on the 2013 Kawasaki Ninja 300 is the racetrack-derived slipper-clutch that is smoother operating while eliminating the back-torque that potentially causes rear wheel hop under hard deceleration in racetrack or aggressive street riding conditions. Because the engine delivers so much extra power and torque the six-speed gearbox has been beefed up and the ratios widened to improve acceleration, top speed and fuel economy.

The Ninja 300 comes with a 12 month / unlimited distance warranty, and if you get down to East Coast Motorcycles real quick you might just be the first to own this newcomer. That's how fresh it is.
