After the dust has settled we take a moment to take stock of where we are in the Formula 1 Championship.

China saw the Silver Arrows show that their car is right on track as is their tyre strategy. With Pirelli supplying all the tyres for the Formula 1 Season you might be urged to replace your existing tyres with a set of Pirellis. Speak to Fuzail at Hi-Q Stanger and he will recommend the best solution for your needs.

With Mercedes-Benz screeching ahead in the driver's and manufacturer's points standing we look at the Formula 1 Gran Premio De Espa–a Pirelli 2014, which will take place at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya.

Mercedes-Benz will not be resting on their laurels and news of the McLaren Mercedes team's aggressive new development plan is spreading fast. McLaren look to Barcelona to bring an upgraded car to the track with upgrade packages planned for each race thereafter.

Red Bull will be seething with the run of bad luck and poor performance form their machines and they will be turning on the heat with much vigor.

As it stands the most exciting motor race in the world is about to get even more exciting as Spain showcases the fifth race in the tournament. The race for Formula 1 Driver's championship is being led at the moment by Merceds-Benz driver Nico Rosberg and followed really closely by his team mate Lewis Hamilton. Fernando Alonso and his Ferrari are in third place with 41 points and Nico Hulkenberg holds fourth position with 36.

The Red Bull team lies fifth and sixth, Sebastian with 33 points and his team mate and challenger Daniel Ricciardo on 24.

It is still anybody's race and the manufacturers are getting stuck in as are the drivers. Don't miss out on the excitement on Sunday 11th May and read about the outcome in The Bugle's F1 Report proudly brought to you this week by Hi-Q Stanger.
