The BMW Golf Cup International

The BMW Golf Cup International

Author: Tomas Yoko
Date: 2016-08-26
SMG Umhlanga hosted their chapter of this magnificent Golf Cup Challenge. Mt Edgecombe set the scene with a pristine course, actually two, manicured pristine, the wind howled and everybody had a wonderful day's golf.

"Eighteen qualifying BMW GCI Golf Days are hosted by BMW SA and participating BMW Dealerships in 2016. The winners from the three handicap categories at each BMW GCI Golf Day compete at the BMW GCI National Final. After the BMW GCI National Final the victorious trio proceeds to represent South Africa at the BMW GCI World Final. This world-class event has been hosted at some of the world's most beautiful and best conditioned golf courses. Host countries of the BMW GCI World Final include Singapore, Thailand, South Africa, Australia, Portugal and Argentina." states the BMW Golfsport web page.

In my fourball was Craig Murie, Allan Govender, Suraj Marajh and I, and blow me down if Suraj didn't go and win the Men's B Handicap division.

Thank you SMG Umhlanga for a wonderful competition and a beautiful day.
